The intent of this site is to serve as a learning and technical resource for those that model data using Microsoft Excel. The reasons why I've created and maintain this site are:
This site is designed to be simple to navigate and standards compliant. The Site Index is set up to allow the viewer to access any topic within two to three clicks of the mouse. Alternatively, the Search function allows keyword searches to be performed across the entire site or within specific sections and/or categories.
The tools and design concepts used to create this site are:
A permalink is a unique URL that is created with every weblog entry. Wikipedia describes a permalink as "a URL that points to a specific blogging entry even after the entry has passed from the front page into the blog archives."
When you click on the permalink for a specific weblog entry, that entry will be displayed by itself. You can then copy the URL into an email to send the item to someone else or use that URL to link to the item from a web site.
ATOM and RSS (Really Simple Syndication) are XML-based formats for sharing and distributing Web content, such as current news or weblog entries. You can view data feeds from various sources by using an RSS reader.
Not all RSS readers display HTML in the same manner. A feed might show up fine in one aggregator but not another. I've tested this feed using Google Reader and it appears to work OK.
Follow this link to subscribe to the RSS feeds for this site.
All user-submitted information is considered confidential and is never shared. You can read more about this policy in the Privacy Statement.
